Landscape Photography
I very much enjoy landscape photography. It was one of the first types of photography that I explored when discovering my interest with the camera. To me, it is one of the more challenging aspects within photography; it takes a lot more thought - to frame and compose the image before deciding which way to edit it, black and white or colour.
Recently I have completed a project on the folklore of Dartmoor for my GCSE Photography course, in which I photographed 4 different landscapes on Dartmoor - each of which represent a folklore tale that allegedly took place there.
What I enjoy about this type photography is the ability to bring the landscape to life, to take it home with you once you have left it and to communicate it's history with the viewer.
